Who is this for?

you will be sent resources and slides following the session.
Session Description:
Join Neurodivergent Psychologist Kate for an empowering and practical exploration of what comes after a diagnosis/identifying ( you may be exploring if you are Autistic / Adhd or are awaiting assessment or have received a formal diagnosis or identify as Autistic.)
This session moves beyond theory to provide tangible insights and strategies that you can apply to your daily life, helping you to understand your unique brain and build a life that works for you.
We will focus on giving you a sense of agency on your journey, providing information that will hopefully open up new avenues for self-understanding and growth.
Key topics we will explore:
• The Spiky Profile: What does it really mean to have a 'spiky profile'? We’ll discuss how to identify and harness your unique pattern of strengths and challenges.
• Processing & Sensory Regulation: Learn practical strategies for managing processing speed differences and sensory saturation to conserve your energy and avoid overwhelm.
• Understanding Your Brain's 'States': Kate will introduce a coaching model based on the 'triune brain' to help you recognise your triggers, regulate your nervous system, and move out of fight-or-flight mode.
• Making Sense of It All: We’ll touch upon concepts like Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), explaining how they can interact and show up in everyday life.
This will be a relaxed, interactive session with plenty of time for questions and discussion, ensuring you leave with tools and resources to continue your exploration.
