    Comfy Clothes day

  • Comfy Clothes day Host a day of Fundraising at your school , workplace , Community group or with your family

Comfy Clothes day

Host a day of Fundraising at your school , workplace , Community group or with your family

Thank you for your interest in hosting a ‘Comfy Clothes Day’ in support for PACT For Autism.

The aim of the day is twofold: to raise funds for our charity so we can continue our work and to raise awareness and acceptance of the sensory differences that are often experienced by autistic people.

For Families

What works for you?

What are you comfortable in?

How do clothes change the way you feel ?

Learn about the 8 senses - contact us for more information

For Workplaces and community groups

Simply come to work in your comfy clothes

Think about what makes them comfy for you and why that's different for everyone

make a donation

please do Contact us for more information

For Schools and community groups

We can provide an activity pack that you may wish to use to support learning during the day.

It contains a worksheet to help think more about the senses – including the three senses often not learnt about.

It might be fun to set out various resources around the classroom or hall which can be experienced by the pupils to make the day fun and interactive.

Starting the session with some exploration of the resources and then a discussion about the senses could then be followed up by use of the worksheet, learning and discussing sensory differences. There is some information about sensory differences often experienced by autistic people along with some links to further information.

Please let us know if we can support you further in your planning - please Contact Us
