Links to PACT I first discovered PACT when my son was just diagnosed with Autism and going through repeated exclusions at a school that wouldn't meet his needs. Not only did I speak with a member of the team who listened, shared their experience and suggested connections and signposting that would change the direction for us and help me get the support we needed, but she also gave me comfort. Speaking with someone who truly understood for the first time was a breath of fresh air. Ever since we have been attending PACT activities with our two neurodivergent children. Wild and wacky especially was a lifeline for us at a time when our son wanted to engage and play with children but couldn't do so in a typical way. Being able to attend these things and not feel like you're on edge was such a relief for us

Lived experience I have spent the last 14 years working in mental health and raising two neurodivergent children. I'm hoping to bring my knowledge and understanding of mental health into this role as a benefit to the way we deliver support. My experiences as a parent have shown me how essential it is to have organisations like PACT to support families and individuals going through challenging situations and give them the guidance they need and im happy to be part of that now and use my own experiences to offer others the same support.
