Links to PACT
I am a founding member setting up PACT in 2005. Supporting families on a voluntary basis.
I was employed by PACT for Autism in 2016 as the Talks Officer my title then changed to Talks, Training & Support Officer as I supported parents & adults while also delivering talks for schools, organisations the police and fire services to name but a few. I also had the pleasure of writing a talk with Deb an autistic adult called The Theory & The Experience which looked at autism from two different perspectives.
I retired in 2023 to become my youngest son’s essential companion.
It is a pleasure to now sit on the board as a trustee.
PACT is in my blood so I will never walk away completely
Lived Experience
I have 2 autistic sons who are now adults. Luke was diagnosed at 2 ½ & Jake self identifies as autistic.
A message to share
The bright, alternative minds of autistic people can be found in all walks of life,
and what a gift it is to know & learn from such an amazing community.
