    Can you help inform the next Essex All Age Autism Strategy ?

    Why are we asking? The lived experience of Autistic people of all ages and their families matter and should be what informs change..

    Essex All Age Autism Strategy group wants to know - What’s working well ? What is not working well ? How can it be better? What would make a difference for you?

    The themes they would like feedback on are: Communication, information, advice and guidance Understanding of autism - by others around you / services and for yourself/family Joy in life - what does this mean for you? Community - what do this mean to you?

    What will it change? Your views will inform change and services in Essex for the next 5 years

    Here are the links to the 2020 - 2025 Strategy documents complied in 2020 and the Easy read version We have fed back that these documents use the term “with Autism” and that terminology has changed within the community. At PACT we do value that the choice is yours to make.

    Healthwatch Essex facilitate the Collaborate Essex Disability & Carers Forum which is a volunteer group made up of local Essex residents who have lived experience of either being in a carer role or living with a disability.

    Roger is one of the forum members and can represent your views, experiences and perspectives in the Collaborate Essex Disability & Carers Forum.

    Essex Family forum represents parents/carers across a range of services, workstreams and projects.

    EFF need your input, your views and experiences, which can be shared through

    • Family champions that you can contact and may meet at our events
    • Graffitti wall - where you can go onto their site and post your views directly
    • Surveys that you may recieve via our emails or on social media
