Welcome to PACT this page is for you if you are

  • Considering if you are Autistic
  • Autistic / AUDHD or identify as Neurodivergent
  • An Ally (An ally is a person who amplifies Autistic rights for either an individual Autistic person they know, or for the Autistic community at large. You might be a grandparent, sibling, friend, colleague, neighbour, partner, other family member, or have many other roles in an Autistic person’s life.

    Seeking assessment /diagnosis as an adult

    Some people choose to seek assessment and formal diagnosis, and others may choose to self-identify, this is your choice.

    PACT welcomes you regardless of what you choose, but we are unable to offer diagnosis or diagnostic assessments.

    Who do I Connect with to start the process?

    Summit are the Essex based organisation that are there to help you through this journey and deilver the Autism Navigation service, they have letters you can take to your GP, offering a service supporting you through the assessment process and after, you can contact them yourself or we can connect you.

    You can also go directly to your GP to ask for an assessment.

    We are a Neurodiverse Community, feel welcome to connect with us through our Co-ordinators, use the website, events and activities.

    You can also find support through Carers organisations, links to these can be found in our signpost and please take a look at Autism Central link below which is a resource set up for Parents and Personal assistants but offers a wide range information across all life stages that is suitable for Allies to read.
