Links to PACT

I am a Co-Founder, former CEO and now Trustee of PACT for Autism. Many people will know me as ‘Sam Fancett’ but I recently married my partner in crime, Phil – hence the name change.

Lived Experience

My drive and passion has, and will always be because of my two beautiful children, Helena and Matthew, both of whom have Fragile X Syndrome. Along with my close friends and Co-founders, PACT was born out of our frustration, lack of awareness and support when our children were very young. A small group of mums, looking for answers ... The response has at times been overwhelming, but we are proud (yes, we can now say this) with everything the Charity has achieved. From coffee shop meetings, to gaining our Charity status in 2012, campaigning in Westminster, regular talks, events and support group meetings and then there’s the fun bit - having great, fun days out with our PACT families.

A message to share

Having our PACT family has proved that no matter what, you can achieve anything. A small charity with a BIG message!
