West Essex

Join Our Team – Charity Manager

Location: Hybrid (office-based, home-working, and travel across West Essex)

Hours: 16 –20 hours per week (flexible working)

Salary: £40,000 FTE (pro-rated)

Contract: Permanent

PACT for Autism is seeking a visionary, strategic, and community focused individual to lead our charity. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a growing charity dedicated to working with autistic individuals and families to build connections, enhance access to services and community across West Essex.

About the Role

As Charity Manager, you will:

· Lead the charity’s strategic direction and operational delivery

· Manage a small, passionate team of staff and volunteers

· Oversee financial planning and reporting in collaboration with the Treasurer

· Drive income generation through fundraising and successful grant applications

· Represent PACT for Autism at external meetings, forums, and events

· Lead the delivery of inclusive services, workshops, and community activities

This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in the charity or voluntary sector, strong financial and people management skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of Autistic individuals and their families.

3. How have you contributed to the strategic growth and operational success of an organisation? Share examples of how you’ve implemented strategic plans, overseen service delivery, and ensured compliance with policies and regulations.
